Fender G-DEC 30 Digital Entertainment Center

Fender G-DEC 30 Digital Entertainment Center

Make Your Practice Sessions Sound Like A Full Band!

Fender® proudly introduces the follow-up to its award-winning, revolutionary Guitar Digital Entertainment Center the G-DEC™ 30. With upgraded new tools based on an unprecedented amount of user feedback from around the world, the G-DEC™ 30 is everything consumers have been asking for and a whole lot more.

Shane Nicholas, Marketing Manager for Fender® Amplifiers commented, "With the original G-DEC™, we set out to create a fun, easy to use and all-encompassing practice tool and entertainment center. But at the same time, we knew that it was just a starting point.

The upgraded G-DEC™ 30 is an evolution that comes from the requests from an incredible number of players who have written and called with ideas, and from where we always knew we wanted to take the G-DEC™ platform."

As with its predecessor, the new G-DEC™ 30 is a guitar amplifier with digital amp modeling, effects, backing loops, phrase sampler, and tuner, all in one great sounding package.

A total of 70 preset loops—all of the originals plus numerous new patterns--include drum beats, bass lines and other instruments, providing a musical backing track that is fully user-programmable. The added Composition Mode also allows individual measures to be combined by the user into whole songs.

The professional quality digital suite of amps, effects and backing loops in the G-DEC™ 30 can now be sent out to external cabinets or PA systems via a rear panel interface that includes versatile Speaker and Line Outputs.

Using the Line Output, a player can send the electric guitar signal to another amplifier, while also sending the backing loops through the Speak Output to a PA system that is voiced for a broad spectrum of instruments, or to a studio mixing board.

The result is that the G-DEC™ 30 can serve as a digital quality starting point for a solo musician who wants to take all of the G-DEC™ 30 features to large venues or into the recording studio.

With the G-DEC™ 30, CD or MP3 devices can also be easily hooked up for "play along" capability. The internal 28 second Phrase Sampler can sample the incoming guitar signal to create loops, or song snippets from CD/MP3 may be captured for careful study. The Phrase Sampler can also now create "sound on sound" overdubs.

Additional features include an on-board memory so that MIDI song files can be loaded in from a computer and stored on the amplifier, and an optional 4-button footswitch (not included) that can access program selection and stop-start functions, and the ability for future software upgrades from Fender® to easily be loaded via MIDI.

Fender Highway 1 P-Bass Honey Blond RW/Neck

Fender Highway 1 P-Bass Honey Blond RW/Neck

Has That Good ol’ Fender® Feel!

The Fender® Highway One Precision Bass® is an American made instrument, borrowing heavily from the successful formula of the Highway One Series guitars. The P Bass® retains the same classic American styling and tone, with a 20-fret rosewood fretboard, and a traditional split single-coil Precision Bass® pickup. Chrome hardware and a three-ply pickguard round out the offering. A deluxe gig bag is included.

Great '70s styling, Badass Bass II™ bridge and Honey Blond finish take this amazing bass to the next level. The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish lets the body wood's natural tone shine through, making for one of the most exciting bass guitars in the Fender® family!

When the Highway One Precision Bass® guitars were introduced a few years back, they were hailed as one of the best bass deals ever from Fender®.

Made in Fender’s® Corona, California, shop, they were priced substantially lower than any other American-made Fender® bass, even though they were created in the same place. Highway One® basses put American Fender® quality within reach of many working musicians.

Now the Highway One Precision Bass® take the series to an even higher level with upgrades that any experienced bassist will immediately applaud.

The signature feature that distinguished the original Highway One® basses was their thin satin acrylic lacquer finish. The new Highway One® instruments have been upgraded to a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

These days, most basses are finished with polyurethane. It’s easier to apply and more durable than nitrocellulose lacquer, but doesn’t look as good or age as nicely.

Fender® keeps cost down by applying a thinner lacquer coating, which also results in a very cool look, much like a vintage instrument. It allows the wood to resonate more freely and lets the beauty of the wood grain show through. This finish has a kind of Closet Classic effect.

Straight off the shelf it looks like an instrument that has been aging unplayed for 10 years or so. It looks mellowed. Combined with the ’70s headstock logo design, it has a definite vintage vibe.

The most obvious new feature on this bass is the bridge. Swapping out the Fender® bridge for a more substantial one is the most common modification Fender® players make on their basses.

Fender® has done it for you by equipping the Highway One® models with a Badass™ II bridge. It is made of brass, heavier than the Fender® standard, and has grooved saddles.

The result is better string stability and improved transfer of vibration. It makes the bass perform noticeably better with more sustain and greater clarity.

Another feature added to each Highway One® Bass is graphite stiffening rods in the neck. This is a standard feature in higher-end Fender® instruments and a good one. The rods make the neck stronger and keep it straight and true.

Fender® maple necks aren’t prone to twisting or bending, but graphite rods reduce the possibility of it ever occurring. And the rods help eliminate dead spots too.

The modern C profile neck and medium-jumbo frets are easier on your left hand and, if you play four-set gigs, you will appreciate that.

Another little upgrade that adds to the Highway One® playability is the Greasebucket® tone knob. Its operation is simple, it is designed to trim back highs without boosting the bottom end. By doing just one thing at a time, it makes tonal adjustments quicker and more certain.

Fender Highway 1 Stratocaster HSS

Fender Highway 1 Stratocaster HSS

Fender Highway 1 Stratocaster HSS The first thing you'll notice about the Highway 1 Series is its unique finish -- a high resonance, low gloss, acrylic lacquer that lets the tone ring out and sustain for days. What with deep saturated transparent colors over premium Alder, the Highway 1 guitars and basses are loud even before you plug 'em in (the acid test for a great sounding electric instrument!). And like any true Fender guitar, they allow the individual voice of the player to come through. These are good to go anytime, anywhere! Pick one and see how far it will take you! The Highway 1 Stratocaster® HSS pays homage to guitarists emerging as hobbyist luthiers in the '80s, who added aftermarket appointments like Black bobbin humbuckers and DIY finishes.
