 | Fender 59 Precision Bass Relic Rosewood Fender 59 Precision Bass Relic Rosewood 1959 was a transitional year for the Fender Precision Bass guitar; it was the first year, for example, in which rosewood fingerboards were offered as an alternative to the one-piece maple neck. This '59 Precision model meticulously replicates its original ancestor, and is available with an alder body and 3-Color Sunburst finish or an ash body with a choice of Vintage Blonde or White Blonde finishes. Period-correct features include a C-shaped maple neck, vintage split single-coil pickups and a gold anodized pickguard. The instrument comes in a tweed case that also contains a strap, cable and polishing cloth. This bass has been given our "Relic" treatment-built to show years of natural wear and tear; with nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts.
