To celebrate the iconic 57 Strat® electric guitars turning the big 5-O, Fender® is rolling out these 57 Stratocasters® in a popular old cosmetic- white blonde with gold hardware. These limited production electrics also include a special neckplate, and will only be produced in 2007 marking the gold 50th anniversary of 1957.

Although the Strat® officially debuted in 1954 (ash body, U shaped neck), the year 1957 is important, as this is the year that the specs all came together (alder body, V shape neck), making the guitar icon we know and love today.
