 | Fender Vintage Hot Rod 52 Tele Butterscotch -Blonde Demo The Fender® Vintage Hot Rod 52 Telecaster® electric guitar combines the best of the vintage Teles® and the modern Tele® with custom shop style Fenders® in one guitar.
Great classic features include vintage styling, a custom vintage Tele® bridge pickup and a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish; modern features include a Seymour Duncan® Vintage Mini HB humbucking neck pickup and a satin-backed "U"-shaped neck with a flatter radius and medium-jumbo frets, and a vintage-style Tele® bridge with three compensated brass saddles.
Nitrocellulose lacquer, which is a highly sought-after finish found on vintage guitars, lets the wood's tonality shine through and project allowing it to breathe and reverberate, it will "break in" easily and enhance the overall tone of the instrument. The maple fingerboard and premium Ash body is what gives the Tele® that bright, "poppy" classic Fender® attack.
Loaded with the most requested features built into Custom Shop models it's got a classy, vintage appeal. But take a closer look at that Seymour Duncan® Vintage Mini HB in the neck position, and the Custom Vintage Tele® single-coil at the bridge and you know you're getting more power out of these pickups than any stock '52 Tele® could.
The Vintage Hot Rod '52 Tele's® one-piece Maple neck has that comfortable broken-in feeling, with a super-playable "U" shape. A flatter fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets also contribute to the easy playability of this instrument, and it comes with a deluxe vintage tweed case.
Leo Fender wasn't afraid to "think outside the box" when it came to guitar designs - after all, he was an engineer, not a guitar player. In the 1950s and well into the 1970s, the blond natural maple neck became almost synonymous with Fender® guitars.
This hot-rodded vintage Tele® is customized for modern playability! Get that vintage broken-in feel with the Fender® Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster®.
