Ovation built this CDX44 Celebrity Deluxe with Blue Transparent finish to be a unique high quality instrument. Taking all of the aspects of a traditional acoustic and molding them to the needs of an electric guitar player.

Designed in collaboration with Al DiMeola and Melissa Etheridge, the rich, bright and super quiet OP30 preamp raises the bar in its class. Three bands of EQ plus the ability to shift the mid band to either a 450Hz or 970Hz gives you complete control over your sound.

There's also a Pre-Shape circuit that not only lifts the bass and treble, but also reduces "rumble" from frequencies below 40Hz. And of course there's an on-board chromatic tuner.

Featuring a solid spruce top, lyrachord bowlback body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Ovation High Output pickup, OP30 Preamp, volume, 3 Band EQ, chromatic tuner controls, extended fretboard with 23 frets, snow flake abalone inlays, gold adjustable tuners, and a walnut pinless bridge.
